YKIP commissioned for operations to bring in international passenger ships to the Port of Yokohama

Yokohama-Kawasaki International Port Corporation (YKIP) has been commissioned by the City of
Yokohama for operations with the objective of attracting international passenger ships to the Port of
Yokohama.

With large-scale international events coming up such as the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo
2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Port of Yokohama is currently preparing its structure as a
world-class cruisingport that can accommodate global cruising needs. To encourage more foreign
passenger ships to call at the Port of Yokohama, YKIP will proceed with initiatives such as gathering
information about the foreign cruising market, visiting and inviting overseas cruise lines, and
participating in cruise trade shows and business meetings.

Yutaka Yasunaga, Senior Vice President, Marketing, has been appointed as of June 1 to supervise
these promotional operations. In addition to these duties, Mr. Yasunaga will also be engaged in
overseas public relations, LNG bunkering, and other new businesses.
